With the dedication to support local crafts and play our part in helping the economy with conscious consumption, we have created a marketplace that supports artisans who are working hard to preserve ancient crafts of their region or creating gems inspired by the moment.
OTENTICOS came into origins while traveling the world, admiring the art and traditions of different countries and tribes along with how the artists of their region are keeping it alive. So, we thought of joining our hands with them and bring you the finest sustainable crafts from all around the world at the most reasonable price rate. We travel to historically rich places around the world and collect single, unique pieces. Our first destination was Morocco, then Colombia, where we spent almost a year, and now Mexico.
The main goal is to connect creators with buyers while supporting conscious consumerism, slow fashion, emerging artist & tribal communities. Therefore, providing single pieces of art that are handmade with love. Our products are environment-friendly. Our goal is not only to spread ancient beauty to the rest of the communities around the world but also to honor the truly hard work. We believe that the fashion industry and our way of consuming have to change, so we would like to contribute to it with this site.
The products are handpicked by us to bring you an authentic experience of that regional beauty that they have been conserving throughout the ages. This hopefully will bring awareness to the modern world about traditional art and crafts. To show you how these products are created, we, later on, shoot/provide videos of the craftsmen and their creations to develop a deeper connection with what you are investing your money into.
